Beyond the Garden is an artistic video game installation, whose main goal is to foster feelings of communion with nature.
It’s composed of a big scale projection of interactive animations, clay or metal symbols, wooden illustrated tablets, and a songbirds ambient sound.
The player must make the landscape bloom full of flowers. These actions unfold a cycle where starts to appear other native beings such as butterflies, birds and some mammals.
The visual art seen on screen comes from illustrations and animations made of graphite pencil and charcoal, registered in notebooks such as those traditionally used by naturalist researchers.
