Hypnagogia is an interactive installation that explores the geography of a dreaming digital brain. Created during “The Brain – Open Lab” residency program in February 2015 in Berlin, Hypnagogia uses the metaphors of connectedness and archival to create a dream-like psychedelic environment which the player can influence through an analog-synthesizer-inspired panel. Each world, created and altered that way, can be preserved on a floppy disk given to the player.

It was created during a residence for A MAZE./ Berlin in partnership with Polish Institute Berlin and Institute Français Deutschland, and curated by Thorsten S Wiedemann

Created by: Martin Reiche, Titouan Millet & Luke Spierewka
